V-AFC controller I purchased this today. I need some help
IneSince i got this today i was wondering the ease of gettin one installed, Since it goes to the ECU i was wondering how much do you think a local performance shop would install and tune it for me. I'm just tryin to get a Idea of a price. I would appreciate it.

probably around $100-$150. it's not that hard to install if you know how to do wiring. it comes w/ a diagram on what wires to tap it into for it to function correctly. as far as tuning, the best way to tune it would be on a dyno.

dude its cake, never touched a harness and i installed it in about an hour......
goodluck and try to find similar rides with your mods for settings until u get it tuned on the dyno...

Any good shop should be able to install it and set it up in 1 to 1.5 hours. The shop I used to work at we used to charge between $55 and $80.

Like someone else said, the instructions booklet has a diagram saying what colored VAFC wire goes to which ECU wire, and they have the backs of specific ECUs to help with your particular one. shouldn't be that hard. just follow their instructions on how to splice in the wires. if you don't have the booklet, download it from their website.

whatever you do make sure you ground it correctly, it is VERY easy to burn one of those things out. I almost killed mine. Good luck

Its better to solder the connections. The quick disconnects they give you aren't that great. Plus, a solder will always be a better connection than a connector or crimp. I'd do it yourself, but thats just me, I have done some many I almost don't need the instructions anymore.
