would i need all new mounts to fit a b16a3 into an ek

If it's the same for all B-serie swaps, the only mount you could re-use would be you top tranny mount.

wouldnt the mounts fromm a b16a3 (delsol) fit on my ek chassis, i was thinking twice and to save $500 i was just gonna get an ls and buy mounts, but if i can use the b16a3 mounts then it would be better to get a b16
help please

No because the Del Sol is an EG chassis and the mounts are different. You need to use a 99-00 Si driver's side engine mount bracket and rear bracket. You can reuse your stock EK upper tranny mount, the front lower tranny mount and A/C bracket can be from the B16 Del Sol.
