Default B20 block swap

i have a 1995 del sol vtec with the original b16a3 with the following mods:
aem cai, dc header, tanabe exhaust, exedy clutch and flywheel, skunk2 intake mani, UR pullies, aem cam gears, and a b&m short throw

i need to know the following:
what i can keep, what i have to replace/get rid of and what i have to buy in order to put a b20 block with my b16 head and tranny.
- will the headers clear the b20 oil pan?
- will the pullies bolt up to the b20 crank, and what belts do i need if at all?
- will the stock mounts work?
- will the stock ecu work for the crvtec?
- will the b16 harness work on the crvtec?
- since the car is a 95, the obd1/obd2 is questionable, how do i tell the difference
- what is a safe compression ratio to run with the crvtec with stock engine/fuel management?

i know that it is all b-series and that most pieces of the project should fit together, but if i am forgetting something, i need to know.

Your harness will work fine. A difference is that you have to tap in a knock sensor if you have a b20b block. b20z block have one already.

Header will work. Don't worry about the obd1/obd2 difference in this case. It is just differences where the sensor are place. Stay obd1 b/c you have pretty much everything you need already on the b16

Stock mount s4will work fine

I am not sure about the crank. I know that my b18 look similar to my b20 except the outside radius on the b20 is bigger. I am guessing it should work.

I hope you are planing to do internal work on that b20 block. It is not as simple as a block swap. Many motors have fail, doing this without using aftermarket product to compensate the stress of the b20 block at high rpm range. Gsr/itr waterpump and oil pump need to be put in also.

I have never completed this swap but i read up on a lot of topics cocerning this issue since this was my plan will my b20b and b18a. This take more money and is more to it than just a block swap.

Just giving you a head up ahead of time.

b16 crank pully wont work... its too small (i believe it has more knotches or whatever), get a gsr/itr/ls/b20 crank pulley. but if i were you, get all the same stuff. ie. if u get a gsr crank pulley, get a gsr wterpump, oil pump, etc.

im not sure about the mounts, all wiringing is fine all ur changing is the bottom end, and the cr ratio is questionable. i've been researching b20 vtec for a month now reading almost everyday. there are a lot of stories about b20 sleeves cracking cuz they are weak. my personal opinion, if you get do this w/o resleeving, dont run anything over 12.0:1 cr (THIS IS JUST MY OPONION) and GET IT TUNED(HIGHLY STRESSED)!!!!! i think that the crv blocks are weak RELATIVE to the bulletproof b16/b18, but i dont think they are as week as they are all saying. i dont know this from personal experience, just a lot of research and talking to machinists, techs, and mechanics. I'm going b20 vtec and im gonna run arias 1.7 dome displacement (i think thats a claimed 11.5:1 cr) and im gonna mill the head. go to http://www.c-speedracing.com and go to the "how to" section. they have a cr calculator. but im not gonna run anything over 11.6:1 cuz i gotta have some reliability out of it. i want it to last though college. umm, well i hope this helped. good luck, pm if u got any q's

you arent gonna get much more than that buy posts. if you want it, its not gonna come to you. search on HT or read books, go with books, HT is unreliable as hell. gl
