I have a holset turbo but cant figure the size and specifics due to the the S/N tag was taken off. I know it is an external waste gate turbo. I looked at the holset website and found nothing. Now on to my other turbo. The Garret is a TA3401 . it has the serial number and everything but it needs rebuilding it isnt locked up or anything but it is in need or repairs. It is in fact an external wast gate also but the part to where you clamp the waste gate on it is loose. I am not sure if this is normal or what. But any ideas on how much it will cost for a good rebild on both of them are helpful and greatly appreciated. I have searched and found nothing for the past month so this is my last resort.

While you're at it, post pictures of the Garrett. The only TA3401's I'm coming up with are from John Deere's... sometimes those turbine housings are wierd.

 

I think it might have come off of a case tractor but I want it rebuild. so I can bolt it up to my LS.
