help with turbo identification please
Alright, I got this Turbo off craigslist and I was told it was a t3 turbonetics. The kid was a jack hole and didn't know what the trim size was. So after a little looking i found the number 57 stamped into the compressor side so i believe that's the trim? I also found out that the exhaust side is a .48 a/r. Would i be correct in assuming its a 57 trim? Or is that number something different?

Pull the housings and measure the blades!
formula for determining trim (compressor)
[(inducer)(inducer)/(exducer)(exducer)]x100= trim
T04E 60
[(2.290)(2.290)/(2.950)(2.950)] x 100= trim
(5.2441/8.7025) x 100= trim
.6026 x 100 = trim
60= trim
formula for determining trim (turbine)
[(exducer)(exducer)/(inducer)(inducer)]x100 = turbine wheel trim
