Hello everyone
I recently bought a 92 honda civic LX.However when I travel through freeway and apply brakes at high speed my Check engine Light comes up.However it goes off once I stop the car.I have obsereved this only if I apply brakes at high speed.Could someone please help.

 

Check the CEL code.. there is a sticky at the top of this that will tell you how to pull the CEL and what the CEL will mean.

 

you'll need to find out what code is triggering the light. Once you know the code, we can help you diagnose what is happening.
