Default Can you use the oem main relay for a kill switch?

Hey i was looking at the schmatics for my hatch and it seems that i can tap into a wire that keeps power going to the fuel pump and not use a extra relay? Is this possible and what are the pros and cons of this?

CHEAP KILL SWITCH:

Pop out your main relay and put it in your pocket. Works every time.

Yes,

Pros, don't tell anyone about it

Cons, do it while you disconnect the battery and soldier everything.
