i have had my apexi kit for only about 3 months, and it was new when i put it on. Well today when i got home, smoke started coming from under my hood, so i checked it out. so i get under my car and notice oil is running everywhere. I sprayed it off with brake cleaner and then started it again. Oil was obviously coming from the turbo area. It looks like it was coming from the flange connecting the return line but im not sure. Is it possible for the seals to be bad already in my turbo? hopefully tomorrow i can work on it, i hope the bolts on the flange just need to be tightened, is it possible for them to come loose over time?

 

I guess everyone here is fortunate and havent had any oil leaks.

 

yes its possible they couldve come lose.
try tightening them down ..
I dont think your turbo seals are blown..that would mean oil in the INTAKE of the turbo or exhaust openings.

 

i hope it is just a gasket for the oil return like.

yeh bolts always come loose over time...ive had bolts come soo loost they flew the expletive out...man it happens
