Default smoke from turbo? HELP

hey guys, i have a garret t28 on my b18c1 and i havent been boosted long. i run 5psi but i noticed that when i make a few hard runs, when i pop the hood there is smoke coming from the turbo. it looks like its coming from the underside where the intake/compressor side bolts onto the exhaust/turbine side. There is also a little bit of oil in the compressor inlet, but theres no oil in the BOV or anything, so i dont know whats wrong, anyone got any ideas?

you have most likely burned your turbo and need to rebuild it.

any number of possibilities actually...it may not be the turbo at all....could be serious blowby and oil getting into the compressor...or a blown HG and oil getting into the exhaust...leaky tubo seals....do a check on the engine first...make sure that its healthy..

o yea i do have a leak on my oil return line. but its at the oil pan where the flange was welded into it. i didn';t think that would have an effect. the smoke isn;t bad at all and doesn;t last long
