Default Skunk 2 Manifold Question........

I know this topic has been covered many times and yes i have done a search on this topic but didn't get a real answer to my question. My question is do i really have to use a itr cable and throttle bracket. Do i actually have to use a non-gsr throttle pulley. If i do does that affect in anyway how the plate opens if i use one off a rs/ls or civic? BTW this is going on to my 99 integra GSR. Also that little black box under the stock manifold do i take that off or do i just leave that on because i know those are the vacuum lines for the secondaries on the stcok manifold and it has a sensor on it for the secondaries and i know if i take that off i will get a cel. but i just dont know what i should do with it since i wont be needing it or do i? thx for the input guys.

You will not get a CEL. I can't remember what throttle cable bracket I used. It was probably an LS. As for throttle pulley. I used the gs-r one for sure. I believe I just took it off and turned it upside down.

no, however you will have to take off the stock strut bar if you keep the gsr setup.

Do i actually have to use a non-gsr throttle pulley.
no, you can keep your gsr setup if you want

You can't use most strut bars if you use your stock GS-R TB Pulley, Cable, and Cable bracket with the Skunk2 IM.

If you want to use a strut bar, it would be better and cleaner looking if you got an ITR Throttle cable, ITR cable bracket, and a non GS-R Throttle Body Pulley and Springs (The GS-R twists the other way).

If this is too much for you... then just look for a modified GS-R Throttle cable bracket. It clears the strut bar while using your stock GS-R throttle cable, pulley and springs.

I actually have one for sale. Just replace it with your stock GS-R throttle cable bracket and walla. Your cable will be horizontal instead of vertical so it can clear the strut bar. Let me know if you wanna buy it.

Dam frenchy! only 20 bucks for the itr cable and bracket. seriously u got a really good deal on that. cuz i just spent about 100 dollas on a new itr bracket, cable, oil pan gasket, and throttle intake manny gasket. plus i got it wall on whoe sale price. i swear skunk2 needs to step up and put some ***** luving installation instructions and all the necessary hardware to install there copy of a type manifold. such a big pain in the *** to get all the correct parts and install the skunk manifold. all i know is it better be all worth it for that parts. o btw i took a throttle pulley off a d16 civic ex u guys think it'll fit in the gsr throttle body?
