Default Hondata is on its way...

Ok, well finally i ordered my Hondata from http://www.modacar.com. I ordered the s200 with the 3-step... full throttle shift:::launch control:::shift light:::etc.::: and also i got the p28 ecu with the obd-2 harness built-in!

But how much $$$ am i lo0king at to install this in my 'lude with dyno tuning?
South-Florida Performance is going to charge about $500 i think... does this seem reasonable? And how are the gains... i have aem cai, dc 4-2-1 , 2.5 mandrel bent exhaust no cat, with ev0 can...and v-afc which will be just for display... What hp/tq am im lo0king at? 175hp+i hope!

Hows the full-throttle shifting? Easy to get used to0? Launch control?

i heard TUNING is key so let's see what happens...

HONDATA

I would be interested to see what you dyno before and after installing Hondata w/ bolt ons. Do you think you can do a dyno before the install, and then after it's tuned?

300 for p28 and pbd2harness and the 3step rev limiter with s200? wow! AND tuned! I wish I lived in ATL.

I was told about 450 for just the parts and then the shop out here wants another 450 for tune and install! Maybe it is time for a road trip.

I hate this island.

$300 i wish!

i think its $150 an hour of tunning...and install is about $160. so i guess its about 2 to 2 1/2 hrs of tuning and then to install it...

I just hope i like it...

full throttle shifting to me seems pretty F*&kin' co0l...

Have you tried calling secret services out in tampa? They also tune hondata, but I don't know how much they will charge.

installing it is as simple as pluging in a lamp...all you do is pull 3 plugs out of your stock ecu, and plug them in your new one...if you mean socking the ecu for the chip, i paid 50 bux for that

tuning is $150 here in ga.

you should be able to do it for like 5 dollers, your already on the dyno so make 1 pull w/stock ecu...the swap them out take 2 mins i swear...sometimes i take my ecu w/me when i park my car...so if your stealing it you need a tow truck

You can install it yourself... All you do is just plug it in and with the base map you have drive it to a dyno to get it tuned... I would call secret services in Tampa and get a quote form them, they are good guys...

just out of curiosity, would s200 tuning an h23 with bolt-on's even be worth it? i am also going to be getting a P&P job on my head before i were to consider tuning.
