is it ok to take out the abs system, i do not like abs at all. since i do not want it can i take everything out? where would i find the diagram for all the parts involved? save some wt. any help would be great.

 

just keep it in until you do major mods to your car, its not worth it, you can just unplug the box, but if you wanna remove the whole abs system, you'll need to replace every brake line

 

y do you want to remove the abs? i hope you know its only about 12lbs

 

go to the dealer and have them print out a engine bay shot of a integra RS , watever year you have . you will need the parts from that car to take out the abs from your current car .

 

Thanks for the info, i just don't like the abs system i like to be in total contol, had a bad experence in my old teg in the snow. i'm planning on getting ss lines soon so, i think ill just change everything out, doing alum fuel lines to ill do that at the same time.

 

u'll need integra RS proportion(sp?) valve and the front brake lines.... u can keep your rear brake lines.

 

If you are planning to sell the ABS sensor, I would like to buy them from you.

 

I ditched my ABS out of my GSR. You need to buy a RS proportioning valve and a couple of lines. I bought brake lines from a local auto parts store along with a brake line bending tool and flare tool for the end of the lines and made them myself. The ABS is heavier than I thought.
