Just installed INTAKE, have a few questions
ok i just installed my injen cold air intake... my question is...
1. why is my shifter much more difficult to shift up from 3 to 4 and from 5 to 6? i need to put some strength in moving it from there. it doesnt seem like it wants to leave 3rd gear and 5th gear. also when first gear is engaged... i can move it more-so to the left and the right. it has more play in other words. how can i correct this situation?
2. i got the kit with the re-located windshield washer fluid bottle. when i try to squirt water it doesnt even come out. and how can i correct this situation?
Thanks in advance

1. have someone hop in the car and shift through the gears while you look at the CAI and make sure that you aren't hitting the pipe when you shift into 3rd and 5th
2. make sure that you hooked up the washer fluid motors right

Same thing happened to me, except i had a professional shop do it. Turns out they're a bunch of dumbass douchebags and I talk them down to anyone i talk to.
Move the intake. You have to put the car in 5th gear when you do the installation to make sure it's not hitting the intake... It's the intake, so make sure there's at least an 1/2" gap when you intall the intake. If you don't get that fixed soon, you're going to be looking at hefty tranny repair bills.

yea it was hitting the tranny. reason was is cuz it was being pushed down by the battery tray. i bent back a part of the battery tray with a pair of pliers. and the intake had about 1 inch more play. so its fine now!
