Hard to shift into 5th gear?

Hard to shift into 5th gear?
2000 Civic CX
All other gears work great except 5th gear. No grinding at all. I have to quickly shift into fifth gear in order for it to go in (feels like a pop when it goes in). If i try to change the gear slowly it wont go in.
Any help is appreciated.
