How often do you change you ef/crx oil?
i don't really keep track, but i try and do it as often as i can. i prob estimate me doing it every 2 months or so. and my driving is about 60 miles a day or less...

I change mine about every 2k-3k miles (when the oil starts changing color), it depends how hard I drive or what type of driving I'm doing.

yes and no since he changes the filter between 2000-3000 miles which is normal life for a filter...if he changed the filter at 6000 thats another story...

every 3000 miles on castrol syntec 10w-30 (i can't go back now) and used to use fram poop filters, then a s2k filter, then mobil one b/c the dealership said tehy don't sell s2k filters anymore...whatever

Yep its just a myth, I change mine about every 3 months or 3,000 miles or less. You could really go 5,000 and be fine but dealers don't want you to know that.

i change like every 3000km's.... lol.. yeah, i spoil my engine, but I figure for like $15 canadian, its worth it, since my motors gonna run that much longer. Thats the way I think of it atleast
oh, and I use Quaker Stare 10W30

I change mine every 2500 miles with a new "poop" fram filter. I dont know why people dont like Fram... I just happen to be running Wackos fully synthetic race oil in it this time. I think the weight is 10W-30.

what's a "poop" oil filter? I use the 3593 fram filter.
Do you need to change oil more often when car is driven 2-3 times a week? Whatever happens it's changed every 2-3 months or 2000 miles.

i never change my oil, since i have to add a quart every 3-4 days i figure all the oil is just being recycled through anyways... 1 quart leaks out, another goes in, another leaks out, another goes... just a continuing cycle.. although there are no oil leaks under the car when i park it for the night.. and it doesnt smoke so i dont know where the oil is getting gone to but its going somewheres.. lol
