hey guys, do i need to swap the tranny for an lsd to be install or i can install it on my 00 si, thanks in advance

 

you can install a lsd in your tranny.An integra type r LSD fits in with no modifications.Ive gpt one for sale,im me if youre interested.

 

you will also need a itr ring gear

 

no need at all for a new tranny.

 

You dont need the ITR ring gear..the usdm ITR FD/ring gear is the same as the 99-00 si.The JDM ITR FD is 4.7,to use that you need the JDM ITR pinion shaft too.

 

the si and itr have the same ratio of 4.4
but the ring gear itself is not the same
the inner diameter of each one is different

impossible to fit an si ring gear on a itr diff

Not the same. Internal diameter of the Si ring gear is 4.25" while the internal diameter of the GSR/ITR ring gear is 4.5" ... Big Teggie had pics up not too long ago to show the difference in the ring gears.

 

ive got an ITR diff. in my 93 gsr tranny w/the 93 gsr ring gear,so i figured it was the same.sorry.
