probably one of the stupedest questions ever asked..

i have a 88 prelude with 170k on it..

what is the highest grade gas i can run in it??

the reason for this is.. well, the exhaust smells like crap.. i was told to run higher octane** gas..

You can run premium for sure. 93 octane thats all i run. I wouldnt recommend running 110 race fuel anyways that would be expensive as **** for daily driver.

 

Would a dead cat cause the gas to smell bad. I know if you have no cat on the exhaust smells like eggs sometimes. I don't know but that could maybe be your problem.
