does anyone know why we are supsose to mix 1/2 coolant 1/2 water ( distilled water) . Why does the car need a 50 50 mixture

 

because straight up water will freeze in the cold, and straight up coolant will not cool the engien good enough, so u need to mix it to get the best of both worlds.

and water alone is kinda corrosive, so you need the coolant for that too.
