there is a guy with a 93 sedan that has the motor out.....he needs the new motor (same kind) put back in.......the old tranny will be used again and it is on the old motor.........i really don't know how to price this since i've been out of this for "customers" for a few years.......whoever took the bad motor out did a professional job, everything seems to be there........but about what would be the going rate.........i figure i can do it in an afternoon, and that's planning for a few things to go wrong...........so what, would $150 be too much?.....i'm using all my tools, i didn't start the job (looks straightforward, but you never know) and it has to be worth my time....i'm gonna work a 12 hour day doing construction then come home and finish this.........what seems about right?

 

I would charge 150,sounds alright

 

fyi shops usually charge 150 to swap out an ALTERNATOR, i think you should charge 300
