damn. for as easy as swapping a honda motor is, 400 even seems like a shitload to pay. i've never done a swap before and honestly the **** isnt rocket science. i guess thats right given how outrageous labor is today though.
maybe youd be better off finding a friend that would do it for cheaper? or better yet if you could find the time one that would just help you with it.

Shops charge between $400-$800 and good luck getting a prediction on when they will actually get around to doing the swap. Your car could sit around fro weeks b4 they actually decide to work on it. Your better off just doing it ur self.
Here is a basic crash course.
Un hook battery terminals
Remove Axels
Un do shift linkage
Un do exhaust
Drain radiator
Un hook radiator hoses
un plug wiring harness from motor
un plug wiring harness from ECU
Un hook Fuel line from Fuel rail
Hook up Cherry Picker
Un do motor mounts
Lift out motor
Start process in revers with new motor...

The going rate for a R&R of an engine is ~10 hrs according to Mitchell On-Demand which is what most shops around here use for estimating. Shop rates are anywhere from 75/hr to 130/hr depending on the shop.
I do side work, PM me if you are interested.
