Default 2nd o2 sensor (?)

I did a search but it really didn't tell me what I wanted to know so here it goes. My R is still under warantee & I've had the second o2 sensor replaced once before cause it crapped-out. They told me @ the dealer they would put a new one in if I'd reinstall the factory cat. (I had a carsound on it) So I did & they replaced it right away. So I drive it a while then put the fat cat back on the car. Every thing seems to be fine. But twice now when I've driven the car @ freeway speeds the CEL throws another code 67. Once again, second o2. It only seems to do this after driving it @ high speeds for like a couple of our or so. I still plan on going OBD1 w/ Hondata but in the meantime that pesky CEL gets on my nerves! I'm wondering if it's got something to do w/ the high flow cat. Has anyone experiened this or a similar situation in the past? Sorry to be so lengthy but I wanted to be specific. Thanks!

maybe your carsound crapped out on you....much more likely that the secondary o2 sensor. Thats the culprit with just about everyone with a code 67

Thanks for the reply man. The only problem about me getting another cat (if thats the problem) is my factory converter has been modified on the front to fit a DC JDM header. For some odd reason the dealer doesen't seem to mind this cause they told me they didn't care, as long as it still had the factory gutts in it. I'm thinking about just getting an o2 simulator to trick the ECU till I go Hondata. Or maybr I'll just buy a new high-flow cat. I just can't stand that CEL shining in my face!!!

thats all fine and dandy, but eventually, (given you have to pass some sort of state emissions test) you're gonna have to replace that cat

Mine did the same thing. Fine with the stock cat but threw a code with the carsound. I ended up just doing the radioshack mod to the o2 and it's fine now.

Mine was OK w/ the c/s cat for a long time but I really apreciate the info. I think I'll do the same thing to mine till I go w/ Hondata.
