Default How could you freeze a shock?

my front 2 koni yellows are frozen/stuck in place. they don't budge what so ever. it happened over the past few days while i've been installing my ingalls camber kit on my crx and re-adjusting the ride height (ground control).

could jacking the car up too high pull the shock all the way and and get stuck or something? i'm completely stumped and very frustrated as to why they've frozen. they've frozen while sitting in the garage...not even driven it. and my front right toe is wayyyyyy out. can't figure that one out either.

i need to get this fixed asap. help suggestions, anything is welcome.

i dont know how but the shocks shoudlnt freeze by pulling the shock too far they should move acorss the full range of travel with no restriction. Yuor front toe being way out could just be out of asjustment or the tie rod might be bent

tie rod bent? god don't say that. i looked okay yesterday.

the only i've thought of is maybe the camber was too far out and put pressure on the shock....?

well apparently it was the camber kit killing the shocks. i reduced the engalls to its lowest setting and the shocks are working again. kinda odd i know...but perphaps too much camber was causing them to push against something. fyi: engalls 1.25 - 3.00 set to 1.25. It fixed the bad toe i was having on the front right aswell. SWEET!

good good, yeah i ahve never known a camber kit to put that muhc side loading on a shock to freeze it but who knows right. A tip also when your aligning your car is that you adjust toe camber then caster int hat order if its clsoe to specs because toe usually will bring the camber clsoe to specs when set itself and camber can bring caster close
