Default Front End Vibration on my 00 SI

I think it may be my axles, but I just wanted to confirm it with ya'll. I was out riding around Saturday night, i got on it a couple of times pretty hard. Then when I got back on the highway on the way home, I noticed some vibration from the front end. It only happens when I am giving it gas anytime over 45+ MPH. As soon as I let off the pedal the vibration quits. From what I have been able to gather it could be one of my axles, i'm thinking driver side axle. But one other thing is that my driver side front shock is busted, there is oil leaking out. I just wanted to know if I should get first, axles or shocks. Thanks for the help in advance.

vibrations are ususally suspension related. If your shock is blown that very well could be the reason. If you think about it... when traveling at speeds greater then 45 mph, when you gas it, your shock may not be able to handle the force that is being put upon it, thus messing with the rest of your suspension. I'm no expert, but shocks are much easier and cheaper to replace then axles. Go get your self some KYB AGX's and then see if the problem sill exists.

This happens to me when Im taking of on 1st or going very slow on 2nd gear. After a certain MPH, it will stop. I am suspecting that the engine mount(s) are busted. This happened after I completed the swap too.

My car was in an accident some time ago before I bought it. The left front was damaged, they replaced the lower control arm. When I bought it, I replaced the upper control arm, steering knuckle, and inner tie rod. I also need a CV shaft because mine is slightly bent from the accident (I've seen it in motion.) I experience the vibration when I'm on the gas at highway speeds. I believe that replacing that axel will solve my problem.

you might be getting what is called synchronous lateral excitation. Same thing happend to The millennium bridge. check it out here. http://millennium-debate.org/ind21febru2.htm

theire solution...better dampers

replace your shocks.
