Default Okay to mount oil sender on Greddy Adapter?

I installed my Greddy Block Adapter today along with my Oil pressure gauge...

1. Is it ok to mount the sender right on the adapter...i know people say mount it off the firewall when using the original sender hole...but how about with the greddy adapter?

2. One minute my gauge reads...I take it off...do some stuff...put it back on...doesn't read anymore ...broken sender?

Thanks H-T!

The Greddy sending unit is small and light enough that you don't have to worry about that.

Check the wiring for continuity and voltage.
