Default greddy oil pressure gauge install

i have a question about how the greddy oil pressure gauge installs. do you need to add a T on the back of the block like the autometer gauge requires or does it hook up different. i had heard it hooks up differently, but wanted to confirm.

here is the autometer style connection with the T fitting. (for reference)

thanks.

Same difference. Both are 1/8" NPT threaded pressure sending units.

does the greddy need a T fitting though like shown above?

or does it mount "in-line" with the stock unit....i.e. you have the BSPT to NPT adapter -> greddy pressure sender -> stock pressure sender without using any Ts or tubing???

I have found that that running a stainless steel oil line from the back of the block to a distribution nounted on the firewall talkes all the strain off the fitting on the block and it puts the sensors in eyes few for better leak spotting. I have used the loop method and mounting it all on the firewall works much better. Enjoy.

There's teh option of using a sandwich plate in b/w the oil cooler and the block. The plates have two oil out-lines.
