Default Bassani Cat converters, Have you heard of them?

I looked half-*** on the web for some pics but did not find any.

I saw on a Car show last weekend that Bassani now has stainless steel inside the converter instead of the cermic.

Does anyone have any info on this? maybe its better then the other brands that seem to fail often?

Btw I sent Bassani an e-mail requesting info.

I've been hearing that name in Rustang circles for years, and I think they are one of the more quality-oriented exhaust companies.

Metal core converters aren't entirely uncommon, although I'm not sure how their flow typically compares with that of ceramic versions. I believe Catco also offers metal core models, and if I'm not mistaken, the Renaults that Hytech uses are metal as well.

I checked the website at http://www.bassani.com, but couldn't find any info on the cats.

I'd be willing to bet they just put their name on someone else's cat converter, much like Magnaflow/Carsound.

Get some specs on flow rate (cfm).
