Hey, I can't get the silencer off my N1. I've had it for a year, and never taken it off, which means it'll probably put up a good fight. I'm just looking for some strategies to get the thing out with minimal damage to the N1/silencer. TIA for answering my stupid question

 

If i am not mistaken the N1 super silencer is the same as the one for the GT-Spec exhaust. I have a GT spec on my teg and when the silencer gets stuck in i took a socket wrench and stuck it in the whole. Then i set the square drive for the socket on the inner ridge of the silence and gave it a tug, it came right out

Ugh... I keep tuggin, but it's not budging
The only problem is that the silencer is too long and narrow to fit a socket wrench in and get a grip, so i'm using a screwdriver, while using the handle to try and pry off the silencer. So with this, i have no handle.... should i just WD-40 like no tomorrow? or are there any other suggestions?

yea it took me an my dad bout 30 minutes to get the silencer out of my girlfriends n1 on her '03 civic... makes a hella sound diff
