Apexi N1 silencer
I just got my apexi n1 put on at the shop, and I cannot get the silencer off. The people at the shop also said that they couldn't get it off, and didnt want to destroy my brand new muffler so they didnt try anything to crazy. My question is, is there any way I can try to take this off. Any special tool that could help me in the process, or has this happened to anyone else. And yes I did remove the bolt holding it on.

Re: Apexi N1 silencer (Ej1_coupe)
I had to use a set of channel locks on the inside on the silencer to grab onto the is tape wrapped around the silencer to keep it tight in there it will come out it just takes some work

remove the screw that holds it in place and give it some gas. it should loosen or completly shoot out. if it loosens then just use pliers to pull it out. Works for me.

those things are a bitch to get out..your just going to have to keep tugging and tugging on it...the more u put it in and take it out it gets easier...then i could just use my hands instead of pliers

Re: Apexi N1 silencer (SPNFEDEJ)
i got mine out by driving my car around till the end was pretty hott, then find some kind of long rod, that has a hook on the end, so you can hook it on the silencer end and just pull it out.
thats the rod below, the "T" is the end of the rod that u put into the silencer and hook it with.
