my car is at a garage right now and i need to buy a new head. I need to know what my exact block is. It is a 1994 acura integra RS. 5 speed. I almost want to buy a vtec 1.6 head that i found with the vtec solenoid and everything for 750, what is my motor and any advice would be great. I know its a 1.8 but b18 what.

 

look at the stamp on the block

 

you'll need the computer, wiring harness and a few other things. search on here for a swap.

Chances are you have a b18b if you hve a stock RS.

 

You have a B18B non-vtec 1.8L engine. Before you go getting that VTEC head I would suggest learning alot more about engines and the process of building a LS/VTEC motor. If you aren't aware of the type of engine in your integra than more than likely you don't have the knowledge of figuring out compression ratios, fuel management, wiring in vtec, and other issues that you will run into when running a LS/VTEC. Either do that or bring it to a knowledgable shop that has experience and great feedback from doing these types of conversions.

yeah man just get a new ls head... u have no business messing with ls vtec.
