Does the bracket curve to the left or right?U need the bracket that curves to the right. If it does u just have to play w/ the motor and wedge it in.If it is the one that curves right then get a bracket from 90-93 integra.

it seems like my problem it that the mount is too big, it either hits the firewall or the engine. can i file the bracket or drop down the cross member?

Nah its the wrong bracket. You wouldnt be able to make it fit without a lot of damage
Get the correct one which is for a 90-93 integra. You can either order it from an acura dealer, around 50 bucks or pull one from a junkyard. Found this out today myself, sigh. Trust me, we need to get the right bracket. Grinding on the bracket to get it to fit would only compromise the bracket and your engine's torque would twist it into a pretzel.

my bracket does not look like that one on the above post on ebay.on the top view mine curls the other way. so then this should be the right bracket? should i lower the crossmember and see what happens? the bracket definatly bolts up the the engine when its out side of the car, my problem is i can't fit it completely behind the engine. i would post a pic but i don't know how.
'k I gotta ask, do you have the instructions that came with the mount kits, and did you alter the rear crossmember as per the instructions? Involves hammering down on part of the rear crossmember so the bracket doesnt hit it.
So far I've been able to determine there might be 3 different kind of brackets, the 90-93 one, and the 94+ integra one, and there seems to be another one for 96+ Civic's which needs to use the 99 Si bracket I think.

yes i did alter the rear cross member. after playing with it for another hour i see that my problem is that the back part of the bracket it hitting the support for the intake. it is only hitting by like a centimeter or two. i am 2 cm from setting the engine in !
i think im going to lower my cross member and see if i can't get the bracket in place. sound like a good idea?
on the rear crosmember thier is 2 sets of holes for the rear mount to bolt into...on the stock motor the mount is set in the passanger side set of holes, but on the b series u have to move the mount to the driver side set of holes for the mount...hope that made sence

i took the mount off just to see how the bracket would fit. even with the mount not even being there the bracket still will not slide in to were it needs to be in order to bolt on to the motor/tranny. its not that the bracket doesn't line up with the mount, the problem is i can't even get the bracket to fit in there right, even with the mount out.
If its hitting the intake bracket, try and remove that? I mean im not sure if youre referring to the intake manifold support bracket, or the intake tube bracket. Any way you could post a photo of your current bracket?

is the bracket not bolted to the tranny yet? i bolted mine to the tranny first, then lowered it in. but if i understand you right, youre sayin the mount bracket is hitting the intake support, right? as in the bracket is not bolted to the tranny yet?
also pics would help a lot.
