Default Ac on or off?

Hey, how much hp or power do you think it would make if you were to take off ac belt and fan and etc.

i highly doubt you will 'gain; very much horsepiwer, but if you want to loose a hundred pounds or so just take the AC/Compressor out of your engine.

I did it for weight and to clean up the bay. It's only gonna kick you in the nuts when you're using A/C.

LMAO, where do you guys come up with this ****? 100 lbs for an a/c compressor? The whole a/c system doesn't weigh that much. LOL

Depending on your location, sometimes A/C is beneficial. As for me, the area doesnt get outrageously hot, plus my downpipe wouldnt clear . BTW its no where near 100 lbs, you didnt even include the radiator, fan or lines with that estimate hahah

i live in boston, does get pretty hot.. nothing an ice coffee can't solve, but the main thing is weight, i think someone did a write up anbd the entire ac system, core+comoressor,+everything came out to 66lbs... its not much.. but add in a cf hood, lca's, stripped interior, your car no needs fat camp.

Without actually having the AC in the ON position you are creating very very little loss at all. I decided to keep mine. What happens if your windows fog up in the rain?
