ok so i was driving my car and the driver side motor mount broke and the motor slammed on the ground!by this time i was pissed and deppressed. but i sat there and witrh the help of a friend and a ride i managed to pick up another motor mount and put it on and everything using factory honda jacks.so now when i got the car put together it wouldn't start. so i figured it was the battery.so we pushed started it. and everything was great car started no problem. i drove it around and decided to turn the key while i was driving to make sure everything was fine and nothing, starter doesn't grind or anything.the starter actuator is getting signal all wires are good. ignition is good. ground is good.if we push start it it runs. what could it be?? someone please help me out this is my daily driver and without this i'm stuck doing nothing.please help.also this is a 92 dx hatch with a 93 b17a1 gsr in it.running a cable GSr trannsmission.someone please help me.

 

there is a fuse for the starter.. check that out.. also double check the signal wire... and also try to turn the key on repeatively... just to see if it goes.... maybe the starter took a hard bang.. and got screwed up.... try taping the starter with something like a hammer ..

 

i've done everything on your list dude. is there anything i can do inorder to check the starter at my house?i don't have a ride to autozone.lol and it's a long walk

 

barrow a starter?.... .. im not sure man.... you need to test the starter... .. give the signal pin* on the start manual power.?.....

See if that kicks the starter if i does.. then.... your ignition switch maybe ?? not sure..

 

what i ended up doing today in the morning earlier i ran a thick wire from the tranny to the negative post on the battery.tried it out and car started just fine.thanks for the help i really apprecciate it.
