my buddy is using a bmc manifold with a tial wastegate on his b18c in his eg hatch. His hits the hood too and he is gonna have to cut out part of the underside of the hood.

I have same problem with the Revhard mani on a GSR. Right now I am not running a boost controller so I dont use the top vac port on the wastegate however when I do I will cut part of my hood frame.

Elbos suck. I had one with my Revhard kit, It made a dumptube impossible bc it positioned the wastegate less than 2" above my manifold.

I had that problem with my Revhard manifold. The DeltaGate does not allow me to close my hood in my CRX.

I got pissed and took a hammer and hammered the living **** out of the hood. Nothing a hammer could not fix.

Now it clears but it still does not have the nipple on the top for the boost controller. If you look at my hood on my CRX it looks like a ******* zit. (big *** bump on it)

Later I will fix it and make it look prettier, well one of these days I'll do it.

I was going to get a Tial wastegate but that WG is taller then the DG. ****.....

Same **** here...

originally I had the 'gate upright and the top of the cap hit the hood. Spiderweb number one. Then I got an elbow and pointed it towards AC pulley. The vac banjo bolt hit the hood. Spiderweb number two. Also, my dumbass melted some of the timing belt cover .

I dont think this pic shows it, but I recently took apart my tial and moved the cap so the vac line was pointing downwards. I also re-tapped it for braided stainless line... before, the stupid hood ate away at the vac line and leaked

Whatever.. but I went to a muffler shop and got some crush bent piping done, and routed the gasses past the AC pulley and down right near the tow hook. Not the cleanest of solutions, but as you can see you barely even notice.

I dont really care about the spiderwebs, im at that point where ive almost given up on the whip.

Hope this helps a little bit, but a while ago I talked to cody and asked him if i sent him the 'poopsteel' if he could make me a stainless one, or just a nicer one in general Maybe even a new elbow!

That manifold is made by a guy named shitbird on Homemadeturbo.com. He charged 310 shipped for that. He ships in literally 2-3 days after your order, no 6 week wait. He also has a full-race style clone for 650 shipped.

If you need a manifold in a pinch, hes your man.

When you order, he asks you what car/year you have, if you want to have AC/PS and finally if its a B or D series engine. A few people on HMT run his in CRX's, so I have to assume he has different wastegate placement possibilities for you fullsize radiator guys

Just pm him on homemadeturbo.com, he has no webpage as he does it out of his garage. Never hear a complaint from him and he ships PROMPTLY as I said.. hes well known on HMT. As you can see his pricing is nice too. He quotes me 270 shipped for log, 310 for this short tubular like I have and 650 shipped for a 'fullrace' clone.

Good luck
