Default Questions about the new 02 Sensor I am having to buy...!!

Well I've changed my header a couple times and just today I finally got the tell-tale Check Engine Light. I ran the code and it came up as the "Primary 02 Sensor" and then reset it. I am going to buy a new one, obviously, and replace it... my question is:

Is it driveable in the meantime? HParts has it for $178 rather than the $237 my dealer wants for it. So I'd prefer to order it and save some of the difference... but can I drive my car in the meantime? Moderately, of course....

While you are waiting for your new o2 sensor to come, fix your head ground, move it one spot to the left. About the sensor, you can get away with driving it *moderately*. Is your car in limp mode? (does vtec work, what is your rev limit?)

yea you can still drive your car. When mine went bad it just made my car run more rich. and you should buy a o2 sensor from these guys....

i bought one from them and it works great, and it only cost about $65 for a new one.

Thanks for the tips guys. Well I consulted with RichXKU and I went out and got a Bosch replacement at Pep Boys for $89. Yeah I could have gotten one for cheaper but I need to replace it tomorrow since I'm doing a lot of driving later this week...otherwise I would have eBay'd it

Oh and thanks for the grounding tip, I'll fix that tomorrow!
