Oxygen Sensor question?
hey guys i took my car into the honda dealership today because i had some check engine code light come on recently. Well they said that because of my intake, headers, exhuast modifications that the wiring is messed up and that i need a new oxygen sensor.
are they telling the truth?
they are sayings its close to 400$ with labor.
what do you guys know and reccomend.
thanks.

I'd recommend getting a new one for $160 shipped from Prostreetonline.com I got mine within 3 days of orderign online! Buying a used o2 sensor just seems like something so little to mess up with if you bought a burnt out sensor.
if you're short on cash, used ones are good if you buy from a good seller. check out http://www.oxygensensors.com good prices.
you can also try a local autoparts store...they dont run that much, just dont try goin back to the dealership, i replaced mine cause i kept failing emissions i think it was like 30 bucks at the most and its was a Bousch.
