Default Supercharger for speed trails and autocross?

So I crossed over and got bit by all the canyons and road courses. I want more power. Who doesn't. I am considering supercharging the car (vortech) but am very concerned about heat issues being that I'll be running for more than 14 seconds and closer to 20 minutes. Has anyone here ran a supercharger here and what was your experience or what is anyone's input on this? Thanks.

you might get stiffer competition if you supercharge your car.

first thing.. when doing courses.. make sure you always do a oil change b4 and after the actual event...recheck everything.. and maksure you have a GOOD cooling system... and as for you going supercharge "vortech" isnt the best way
just my opinion... you would prolly be better off going with a small turbo .. and the rest would be the driver... dont let any1 make you think turbo on autoX is bad ... if you kno your car well enough and you practice you will be good with the turbo.. with the right combo. small turbo, short induction piping, and good cooling and good tuning you should be as responsive in the corners just as any NA car out there...
