I was just wondering what would happen if i put a si intake manifol (d16z6) on a d15z1 block(vx motor) would i gain or lose horse power? Also what is the pros and cons of doing this upgrade? I just want to make upgrades on a budget! please help me out! thanks

 

You should gain a tiny bit, but don't spend too much money on it. There's no point in changing the intake mani if you aren't gonna shove a little more air into the combustion chambers. You should at least put a larger throttle body and an intake on there with it. Still, don't expect too much.

EDIT: If you're gonna swap the intake mani, at least use a d16y8 mani.
