What happens when your gears stick???
I have a 2001 honda civic, and I missed 2nd gear this morning, and when I came to a stop... I shifted to first but it kind of stuck like something was holding it from going to 2nd. It still shifts, I'm going to take it to honda and see if the warranty applies, but I already have intake. If I reinstall the stock intake, will the computer know that it was out???

Besides, don't even bother removing the intake, it has nothing to do with your tranny. If they say it does:
Your Dealer.
If you hydrolock your motor or the filter falls off and you get sand in your **** maybe, but anything involving the tranny, no way. Some dealers still try to pull that stuff though. Call Honda of America if they do.

Is it harder to put in gear when ur sittin at a stop or when ur moving? If it's hard to put in gear no matter what you might have bent ur shift fork. Just make the dealership fix it. Good luck!!!!!!
The wonderful 01 civics have cable shift linkages. A bulletin was released a few weeks ago about your exact problem. Apparently the cable collars hang up on the shifter shaft causing shift problems. Take it to the dealer and tell them your problem and that there is a service bulletin on this.
