GC's and AGX's are installed...initial impressions....
I finally got the new suspension put on last night. It was a slow go of it at times, but I prevailed (hand tools owned my ***).
Anyway, when I first put them on, they were too low (almost tucking steelies) and that rode like *ish. It was very bouncy. So I go out this morning and raise it up some and it rides very nice now. It's a nice and firm ride. I have the agx's set at 2f and 3r right now. I will play around with those settings some later. The drop is nice. The fenders are about an inch and a quarter above the tires all around. I can tell I have some negative camber all around and my question is should I get an alignment right away or do you need to let these settle some first? I think I'm going to do the 'washer trick' in the rear and get the alignment done and call it a day. Just not sure if I should do it now or let everything settle first. If someone can help me with that I'd appreciate it. Sorry for the long read, but just wanted to let those who are interested in getting this setup know that it rides very nice. I'm sure it can get much stiffer though.
IMO, it's a good value all around.

set your AGX's to 3 and 5 for a "sporty" ride
your settings seem a little soft for anything much but cruising
if your car isn't pulling bad I would wait on the alignment till u do the washer trick and everything to set in ~ a week?

Well, I have it set kinda soft right now because I read somewhere that you should let everything 'break in' before you stiffen it up. I am still experimenting with it though.
I'm lovin' the adjustability.

I got kyb agx in the back, not in front yet.. not enough money.. and i set it to 1 at first, and it rode nicely, then i put it to 4 and jeez that was a hard ride for the rear, it felt like it was so hard because the rear of my hatch isnt heavy enough to press down that shock at setting 4.
5? for KYB AGX??? they only go from 1-4??

i have agx's front and rear. The fronts go from 1-4, and the rears go from 1-8. Maybe it depends on the year of your car, i have an ek
Oh and i have them paired with GC's as well. Pretty nice ride, i set them at 2 all around for everday driving

yeah the EK's have 4F and 8R as far as adjustments. The EG's and some other cars only have 4-4
