Alignment really necessary?
well i just finished installing my front coilovers and the first 3 days were pretty good. no squeking no rubbing no pulling over left or right. i tried at high speeds and bumpy corky road and everything seems to be working just like before when the suspension was still stock.
question is....do i really need an alignment after the change to coilover? everythin seems to be ok. and the drop i think is about 3" or more. I set the thread to the lowest setting on the front. the rims are still stock steelies 14"

i had experienced before that whenever Les S. does my alignment it will screw everything up.
either it will pull hard to the left or right. in short how was it that it's better off without the alignment. that's why im having a 2nd thought about the alignment. well as they say if ain't broke don't fix it.

Then go somewhere else. Play it safe and have an alignment done, otherwise you run the risk of having to buy a new set of tires is the near future.

That's not an alignment, that's a hack job. Some of these alignment shops can be really frustrating when they do a poor job. Still, it needs to be done unless you have a huge tire budget and don't drive in a straight line. Find a good shop that's willing to do it more than once if they screw it up.
