Default sis got in an accident, some help please

hey guys, my sister got a 94 civic sedan and she rear-ended a truck today. i looked at it and the front end is mashed in big time right in the center. weird thing that the air bags didn't go off.

anyways a friend and i are going to try to tackle fixing it, if we even can. it's been in an accident before and we fixed it but we just replaced the hood, fenders, and front bumper.

now my question is, what would be the best way for us to push back out the frame of the car in the front? is it even possible to do that without special tools? to give you an idea, the radiator is angled about 15 degrees inward. thanks in advance for the replies.

p.s. my sis only had liability on the car and she's strapped for cash right now and can't afford to pick up another one. that's why i'm trying to attempt t fix it.

There are machines that will pull out the bends, but I don't recall what they're called. Can be had for as little as $100, but most will probably be in the $150-200 range. Never used one before so I can't comment on how to operate and any other details.

Your other alternative is to get a BFH and/or wrap a chain around the bent parts and tie it to a sturdy tree.

if its got a clean title dont let insurance salvage it because they will. front ends can be replaced for less than 1,000 if there isnt any frame or motor damage

the airbags only go off if the impact is severe enough. its a good thing they didnt go off... u just saved big $$.

i would just take the car to a body shop to straighten the rad support, then you can just reassemble the rest. its pretty hard to get the support straight w/o a jig
