Default Old Core Support is off, putting new one on... PICS.

I just got my core support off last night. I was in a small accident and it had to be replaced. Is there anything I should do to the car while it is off?

Also does anyone have any suggestions for bolting the new one on. I don't have any welding equipment right now so bolting is my only choice. I need some way to get to work tomorrow so it needs to be finished today, thanks.

Here are some pics of the car..

I'm wondering that too.

$130 sounds like a good price for a unpainted radiator support.

I've got quoted $450 (2000 Civic) at a body shop. Which includes a new oem core, installation, removing the old-bent support and paint.

How did you get the Support off? Drilling it or did it just un bolt off? Can you explain?
I have heard of bolting the support on, for temp use but welding, unfortunately, will be your best and safest bet.

well if u still have ur bumper support, just have someone hold the radiator support on the car while u bolt the bumper support on... it will sandwich the radiator support between the frame and bumper support... and if u have some selftapping screws around just put one on each some of the new support near your fenders, u can take them out when it gets welded on... hope that helps, l8rz

you have to drill out all the spot welds to remove old core support. Also if you know anyone that has a bodyshop they can get the core support for under $100 from companies like Certifit or Keystone...
