Default Advanced the timign again

so i just went ***** out and decided to advance till i heard ping then back it off but the dizzy ia already advanced all the way.. and i don't hear ping and it runs strong and smooth to redline.. with a full tank it pulls like i have a half tank.. but hopfully this is safe, with my low compression i guess i'm good. i gotta get a dial type timing light and see how much advance i got..

well drove aorund all night. seems fine. runs good. lolol for the record. I'M A ******* RETARD. don't try this at home.

*EDIT* just checked my timing.. judging the distance with the stock marks which are 2º apart i'm about 22ºadv.. this is with the ECU in service mode or whatever (service connector jumped)

yeah... i think i'm gonna retard some more. i wanna gain some top end.. and i was always confused about timing. i always thought advancing gave you top end.. but retarding does.. i need to dyno tune so i can shift my powerband up a little higher.. but most of my daily driving is under 4k... **** i need hondata

i always picked up hp in the topend with advanced timing. I thought the idea was earlier spark more powerstroke. It would seem that you would need the spark earlier that faster the piston is moving to allow the fuel time to burn. I might be wrong.
