Am I pulling timing this bad?
Okay, I'm running a D16y7 with P29 pistons, It started and ran fine in the garage so I was going to take it to my buddies for a basemap tune last night, I hit the road last night n made it out of the neighborhood fine I hit the main road, made it 1/8th mile and it lost power and died, it sit for a moment and turned over slowly, I hit the starter again & it fired up fine & drove home fine. Got it to my garage and it idled fine, showed no signs of trouble, I shut it off and restarted the timing a hair attempted to start it and nothing, put it back to where it was (stock mark) and its still back firing through the intake and not starting. Is it pulling timing that bad? Is there any way to get it across town without towing it? I'm running a 97 dx ecu also.

is your ignition timing right? sounds like u are way too advanced not retarded or "pulled" timing. sounds like u need to recheck or redo you mechanical and ignition timing it definitely sounds off.
