Run it... at first I was going to say, ONLY if you want to trash ur cat... but after seeing the testpipe... GO for it... u shouldn't notice too much of a change... it should run MUCH smoother...

if your not running 12.5+:1 compression or f/i or nitrous...it will do more harm than good

why would it do harm? does it increase the temperatures that much?
when i went to the track i put 100 octane in and turn my distributor like alot!
not sure how much i advanced
i went 14's stock gsr

did that hurt my engine really bad? i did it on two events.

 

just put a gallon or two in... not a full tank

 

if your goin to run 100 octane just put in half tank 100 octane
and half tank 93 whenever you fill up.
just watch for your o2 sensor to blow very soon

 

I ran a full tank of 102 octane a while ago and it was fine. Why do you guys say use a 1/2 tank of 93? BTW my car is turbocharged.

 

pure teg if your car is turbocharged then 93 octane is fine for daily driving
i say use half 93 and half race so it'll mix up and equal up to 100 octane
it'll save you some money too.if you ran 102 octane once for a full tank
there shouldn't be a problem with your o2 but it takes time to burn your
02 sensor the race gas will just make it burn up quicker cause your burning
feums than what the o2 was made to handle

 

ah so the 02 sensor is the problem...thanks for the heads up, no more full tanks of 102 for me, besides that crap gets expensive quick....
