Are you doing anything to the stock one or just using it as it is?

my friend has a 84mm erl (darton close deck sleeve) and SFP, where the erl are from, said they only use cometic standard headgaskets (not the HP version) on their motors. so thats what he is going to use..not first hand experience but i think with either you will be fine as long as you use a good coat of copper spray

Personally I don't like Cometic, we only use GE overbored factory gaskets.

We use cometic in all of our motor builds, FI or NA.

We are the NE dealer for ERL blocks. I just got my personal block back from them......looks very badass. For the money there is no better sleeved block available, NONE.

The AEBS sleeves are old technology.

if it is a b20 or ls, used the stock honda gasket, else, use a GE gasket.

That seems like a pretty bold statement and honestly rather ignorant. Care to explain why you feel this way?

It's an opinion. Everyone can have their own. I'm using GE sleeves (85mm) with a cometic HG.

Yea, just as Brian said, on the nonVTEC or LS/CRVTEC motors that works

Which is bold and which is ignorant? I will comment further when you elaborate.

The CRV is for non vtec engines thats is why you cant use it on like a 84mm GSR or something that allready ahs the oil passages
