Only use Stock Gasket with Golden Eagle sleeves?
I tried searching but cannot find the topic. I was almost certain that I read somewhere on this board that someone said if you have Golden Eagle sleeves with the O-rings, to only use the stock head gasket. Is this right? Can someone find me the thread? Also, if it is right, what are the reasons?
THanks

Re: Only use Stock Gasket with Golden Eagle sleeves? (2000Accord5sp)
Fine...since no one replies, I found out myself. (just didn't want to call GE long distance). They said that it's partially true. Basically you don't want to get any gaskets that have a ridge (an o-ring) built into it because they already put o-rings on the sleeves and you'll end up with problems. So you don't necesarrily HAVE to use a stock gasket but need to be 'watchful' when selecting one. I also found out that GE is going to make head gaskets by next month for h22's. guess i'll need to get one.
