Default GSR water pump on B18B1 .. [did a search already]....

First of all, is it possible to put a 99 GSR waterpump on a b18b1 block? If so, what waterpump gasket do i order for it? GSR gasket or LS gasket... or are they the same?

thanks in advance for any help.

Use a P72 water pump and timing belt.

GSR timing belt must be used when changing to GSR water pump

I know for a fact that if you buy the waterpump through an acura dealer, the pump comes with the gasket all ready.

The gaskets are probably the same regardless, but if by chance they aren't, then you should get the one for a GS-R.

The gaskets should be the same, the only difference between the pumps are the number of teeth on the impeller gear.
