Default Source for band-clamp style hangers for my tanabe tuner medallion muffler?

Ok, guys, I got my tuner medallion muffler for the turbo exhaust. Inlet size of 90mm - 3.6"....like whoa.

But, I dont wanna weld hangers to it and ruin it. I am looking for the band hangers that wrap around the body like those ricey carbon mufflers have on ebay etc...

The muffler is 170mm round (6.7 inches) and I cannot find any place online. My next stop is the local truck stops to see if they have anything similar they may use on semi mufflers!

Thanks!

PS - Sorry for posting it here - I figured it was a forced induction topic and other guysmay have tried this same thing before or come up with a solution.

Moderators - feel free to move it . Thanks!

welding onto it is not going to ruin it.

Get some sheetmetal that is thin and flexible enough to wrap around the muffler and cut it up.

Jeg's has one that fits 6" round mufflers, Part number 642-10122. http://www.mcmaster.com has one that could easily be made to work for your application, that part number is 4570K152. If you can't get these to work, use the sheet metal idea, it just won't be as clean.

hybridvteceg - most muffler shops here dont weld stainless. The rod they use isnt stainless, so the weld spots start to rust like a **** and I dont want that to happen.

96dc2 - good idea with the sheetmetal.

FwdCivicHatch - Thanks for the part no's bro. I really appreciate it. I will look into it asap!

The magnaflow says 6" round, mine closer to 7" round. Hmmm
