Integra GSR Turbo Build Up question
I have a 96 gsr and I am going to go turbo but want to build up the engine heavily to handle high psi! I wanna do a type R head swap and deff lower the compression, but how low should I go? and what other bottome end components will I need to handle probably close to 18 psi? And if I do the whole ITR head should I do the ITR ECU as well?
whats the point in gettin the type R head? for building up?
if u have a GSR then keep that.
build your block with forged pistons and rods
1.JE stock compression pistons or 9.5+ CR
2.Eagle Rods
3.Extrude hone your sleeves or get the **** REsleeved
(stock sleeves can hold 18psi) people on the board have done it

Your going to most likely need the following. These are not the only things you need, but it's a start of your expensive list.
--sleeves
--programable computer
--injectors
--rods

Extrude hone the sleeves????
9:1 JE or ARIAS pistons
Crower Rods
resleeve if you want to go above 14lbs otherwise stock sleeves are ok
VAFC is fine for now
It really depends on how much power you want to make and what your budget is like.
Don't forget you'll need a good clutch and 3inch exhaust.
